Brainy Orchids - Peer Reading Club (Year 1 or 5-6 years old)

Dear Parents and Carers, Have you been looking for the best chance for your children to develop their ability and life-long love for reading? A place to feel safe from judgement or pressure while improving their reading, and feel comfortable to develop their communication and social skills while having fun and making new friends? We all know how important it is to master Literacy to succeed in today’s world. My name is Catarina (Cat) Rodrigues. By combining my Educational Psychology background with my experience working in UK primary schools I have started Brainy Orchids to guide your children as they start on their journey into the magical world of books. The road we will walk together as a group will equip each child from an early age with essential tools to take along for their whole lives. Brainy Orchids ' Peer Reading Club consists of one Weekly 90-minute Group session throughout the year. Your child can also have an additional Weekly 45-minute One-to-one session, in the location of your choice. The rates for the Peer Reading Club: Group Peer Reading Club : £30/month Additional One-to-One Reading Sessions (Optional) : £50/month To ensure we make the best of the Peer Reading Club all children will start with a couple one-to-one assessment sessions to determine the starting point and skills that each child brings to the group. At Brainy Orchids children of different abilities will cooperate to grow as avid readers. Together your children will live new and exciting adventures and discover new worlds through books. NB: At Brainy Orchids we value your children's safety first and foremost. As such anyone working with your children is required to hold an Enhanced DBS Check.
